The RPSI is the official North American extension of the German
Verband. Also known as Zweibrücker, the horses receive
registration papers from Germany, as well as a Life Number and brand,
The "Royal Belgian Sports Horse Society", since 1991 better known
under the name of Stud-Book sBs, historically has represented Belgium
sport horse breeding in the south of Belgium. The interest in
equestrian sports, in Belgium as well as abroad, has pushed sBs
breeders to improve their breeding by using mares and stallions of
quality, often of prominent origin (mainly French but also English,
Irish, and German) to form the kernel of the breeding of a modern
sports horse. Now Stud-Book sBs puts at the disposal of breeders in
North America a new passport, the famous sBs Blue Book.
