We have a few too many broodmares, and offer the following for
possible sale to serious warmblood breeders. Six of our mares this
season are currently pregnant to three really nice stallions of
Rainbow Equus Meadows-Landkoenig, Landfriese II and Escudo II. If you
are a warmblood breeder and one of these mares catches your interest,
please contact us. All are healthy and sound. None have had colic or
other problems. These mares have been loved and are well cared for.
Country Girl:
1989, chestnut, by the French thoroughbred stallion Verduret, who is
by Green Dancer, and out of Wette, imported Hanoverian by Wettstreit
out of a Duellant/Steinpilz mother. Wette competed as a 4'
competitive jumper and was very easy to ride. Country Girl is
approx. 16hh. and admitted in the main mare books of the ISR/OldNA
and the GOV. She has had several foals, and all have proven to be
easy to ride like their grandmother. She gets pregnant easy and foals
easy. Great mother. Country Girl is still very fit, has not been
over-bred, and has a couple good foals still in her in spite of her
age. $2,500 obo. In foal for 2010 to Escudo II.
Fatal Attraction:
1992, bay, by Fatalist
[see our Stallions
Page]
and out of an imported Oldenburg mother, Femme Fatale. Femme Fatale
was by Furisto, a son of Furioso II, and out of a trotter mother.
Femme Fatale competed successfully at the 4'6" jumper level in both
Germany and in the States. "Fay" is a very sweet mare, and approx
16hh. $2,500 obo
Faire La Roue:
1994, gray, by Fatalist
[see our Stallions
Page]
and out of a Prinz Gaylord mother. We have 2 full brothers, one a
retired competition horse and the other starting in competitions.
"Roue" is approx. 16.3hh is really sweet and a great mom. She is
sensitive as are her two brothers, but easy to work on and
around. Admitted in the GOV main mare book. $3,500 obo.
Felicia:
1995 Premium Foal, bay, by Fatalist
[see our Stallions
Page]
and out of Lady Liberty, an imported Oldenburg mother by Landadel [the
grandmother of Landfall--see our
News Page].
Felicia is a top genetic producer, a great mom, and has a very steady
temperament. Felicia is approx. 16-1hh. Because of her bloodlines [3
times Ladykiller xx], she is a perfect candidate for heavy stallions
who need light type mares. Admitted in the GOV main mare book. $5,000
obo. In foal for 2010 to Landfriese II.
Faviana:
1999 Premium Foal, bay, by Fatalist
[see our Stallions
Page]
and out of Belle Francais, an imported Hanoverian mother by the French
stallion, Bonjour. Belle was a top competition horse at the 4'6"
level. See our
Contact Us
page for a head shot of "Febe" when she was a foal.
She is approx. 15.3hh and a very sensitive type, like her mother--most
likely from the French stallion, Bonjour. She has 2 full brothers who
have proven to be fantastic performance types, but very blooded types
to both start and ride. All have had the temperaments of the mother,
Belle. Because of her temperament, she would work best with stallions
with quiet temperaments who need sensitive type mares. Her 2 full
brothers are approx. 16.2hh--one is a medium body type and the other
is a lighter body type. $5,000 obo. In foal for 2010
to Landkoenig.
A cowboy we know in Montana has had some health problems this past
winter. We brought 5 of his horses down to our place in Oregon, and
have been working with and riding them for a couple months now. If
you are looking for a really nice trail horse or just a nice horse to
have some fun with, consider one of these. They are all really "user
friendly" and definitely built for trails, team penning, back country
hunting, desert riding, you name it. There are a couple draft crosses
if you want something to both ride and drive, a really pretty small
Cremello QH if you are wanting a horse with some "cow" in it, and a
quarter draft/three quarters QH sorrel with a flaxen mane and tail who
will work for any beginner.
Check them out. They are all reasonably priced, and we will give
free delivery to anyone within 500 miles.
